Surf youtube ( www.youtube.com ) and teacher tube ( www.teachertube.com) for lessons on your subjects to see how other teachers have taught your lesson , even bad lessons can inspire you with a good idea.

Now you are ready to start writing your lesson plan

In this stage , you will either be accepted in the job or lose it for good , so you need to choose a very catchy activity , it should be :

Related to the lesson

So if you will present (present continuous , warm up can be a game on V.be as review for it )

Has a kind of materials you give to the audience, so they have something to do ( can be cards they raise or something they will form or a game they will play )

Funny so they enjoy it .

Designing the presentation:

– Presentation should be student based , so you should focus on the student more.

– you should also minimize TTT ( teacher talking time ) and maximize STT ( student talking time ).

– use engaging material.

– Use clear voice.

– Let every activity lead to the other smoothly.

– Vary between group , pair and individual activities.

– End your presentation with concept checking activity to check the understanding of your students ( group activity ).

Step 9

Designing the Practice:

– Design 2 kinds of practice.

– Start with guided practice ( can be individual / pair or group ).

– End with independent practice.

– Vary the type of activities in practice.

Step 10

End your presentation with a VERY GOOD CLOSURE:

– Funny game that sum up the lesson.

– This what will consolidate the idea.
